Project Empathy's mission is to foster empathy, trust, and understanding across difference. Empathy is a skill that can be learned and strengthened through practice. In a world seemingly more divided than ever, we're committed to creating spaces, providing support, and sharing knowledge that empower you to cultivate connection in your communities. Our kits and workshops create spaces to: +Learn about empathy's importance, nuance, and accessibility +Practice reciprocal empathy through our signature story-swapping method +Engage with people with different life experiences in a way that centers the desire to understand each other We believe that when given the right tools and environment, we can connect with each other despite our differences. (Spoiler alert: We're not so different, after all.) ---- Created in 2017 and founded in 2020 by Catherine Cote, Project Empathy has been performed nine times worldwide and launched workshops in 2024.
