Project-Fleur-de-lis is comprised of four innovative programs: Evidence-Based Practices, Military Youth and Family, Suicide Prevention, and Restorative Practices. In addition to these four programs, PFDL places a strong emphasis on workforce development by providing education and training for the local school and community workforce. Interventions are taken from state-of-the-art promising practices or evidence-based models, maximizing the likelihood of achieving successful results with the students.
Project Fleur-de-lis provides school-based trauma-focused intervention services, military family interventions, school-based suicide risk assessment support, and restorative approaches training and implementation support. All schools (public, public charter and parochial) in the Greater New Orleans area are provided the opportunity to participate in PFDL's comprehensive programming. PFDL partners with the Louisiana National Guard (LANG) Office of Family Programs to reach military members and their families. PFDL is always looking to expand the impact of its services through community partnerships and outreach.
