Project Garuda

Project Garuda is India’s premier Super-mileage team. We, at Project Garuda, aim at designing and fabricating vehicles that boast of exceptional mileage. A brainchild of R. V. College of Engineering, Project Garuda was the first Indian team ever to attain a 14th position finish at Shell Eco-Marathon, 2012. In addition to competing at SEM-A, the team also focuses on researching alternative fuels. Project Garuda is a team of student engineers at R. V. College of Engineering that was initialised in 2008. Since its inception, this project has been producing prototypes with astonishing mileage statistics. These prototypes are primed to compete at various international super-mileage events as well. The Shell Eco-Marathon is one such event.
