We are three pairs of Filipino- Canadian hands that started our distribution business- PROJECT HAPPY HANDS in May 2018. It all started when we distributed just one phone calling card product across different Filipino convenience stores in Canada. Little did we know that this simple plastic scratch phone card would mean a lot to Filipinos living in Canada. It meant a mom able to hear the voice of her growing children in the Philippines despite the distance, it served as a bridge for a son to show his love to his aging dad weakened by a disease, it is a pill to cure loneliness of Filipinos wishing to be present on the dining table of their loved ones in the Philippines during Christmas dinner. Our three pair of hands were humbled and we felt empowered at the same time to witness amazing stories of how one simple product through our distribution model was able to touch lives and bring HAPPINESS to the customers we served. And you are right, HAPPINESS is addictive. Inspired by the many stories and feedbacks we received, we have decided to keep on adding different emotions starting this 2020 through new products or events both online and offline to serve Filipinos in Canada and embrace as well non- Filipinos who wanted to experience Filipino warmth, culture and hospitality.
