Project Nemo is a 12-month disability inclusion campaign with a goal to set fintech as a sector leader in inclusion, deliver a lasting legacy of change.
More than 1 in 5 people live with a disability in the UK, representing an estimated £274 billion a year in spending power. There is also anecdotal evidence indicating low levels of disability employment in UK fintech, in spite of the fact that 24% of the British working age population has a disclosed disability.
Project Nemo will kickstart conversations, convene allies and connect experts. The initiative’s goal is to create a lasting legacy of continual progress towards a more inclusive fintech industry and services.
