Project Playmaker is a Belfast-based football initiative focused on more than just the game. We’re here to develop technical skills while helping young players grow as leaders, build life skills, and gain confidence—both on and off the pitch. Our goal is to inspire the next generation, empower future leaders, and positively impact our communities. Through quality coaching, mentoring, and innovative training, we create opportunities for players of all backgrounds and abilities. Football isn’t just about winning—it’s a tool for building character, resilience, and teamwork. A First-of-Its-Kind Football Facility in N. Ireland: Plans are underway for a state-of-the-art football facility—the first of its kind in Ireland. This cutting-edge centre will combine advanced technology with expert coaching and mentoring. Once established, the facility will: • Provide top-level training to help players sharpen skills and reach their potential. • Support junior and senior teams, including Irish League clubs, with specialist coaching and rehab. • Offer an inclusive space for individuals with disabilities, ensuring access to quality football coaching. • Deliver leadership and life skills programs, shaping confident, well-rounded individuals. • Give back to the community, supporting local initiatives and grassroots football. Schools Coaching & Local Hero Program: While the facility is in the works, Project Playmaker is already making an impact through outreach programs: • Schools Coaching Program – A six-week primary school program combining football training with life skills, promoting teamwork and confidence. • Local Hero Program – A 6-week program for 13 - 17 year olds that blends leadership and football coaching. Participants can obtain an IFA coaching badge to prepare for future coaching roles.
