PUSH-IT

The PUSH-IT project, funded by the Horizon Europe Programme of the European Commission, aims to contribute to the transition towards a net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) economy in Europe by demonstrating the full-scale application of high temperature heat storage in geothermal reservoirs using three different technologies at six different sites. The project seeks to reduce environmental impact and improve performance and robustness through the development and demonstration of enabling technologies and engagement with key stakeholders. As we embark on this four-year project, it is important to consider the potential for the project's results to be exploited for wider societal and economic benefits. PUSH-IT has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101096566.
