Project Zero

Project Zero is an initiative of the non-profit Synergy Foundation focused on implementing circular economy concepts in British Columbia and beyond. Since 2019, we have been changing the narrative about waste to one that is focused on resource efficiency, economic opportunity, and social equity. Project Zero offers an Incubator program designed to support early start-ups operating within the circular economy, launching 80+ ventures across British Columbia since 2019. Project Zero's Circular Economy Accelerator program helps established businesses on Vancouver Island adopt circular economy principles into their operations, reducing waste, water, energy use and emissions, increasing operational efficiencies, finding new revenue streams, and incorporating innovative practices.
