Project Invigorate

Project Invigorate is a student-initiated group with the goal of working alongside community partners to revegetate underutilized spaces using climate-adapted and ecologically beneficial species. We have engaged our local community in building a healthy urban ecosystem by leading our student interns through the process of community-oriented landscape design, installation, and maintenance. We decided to name ourselves "Project Invigorate" because Davis already has much work on enhancing our urban ecosystem but we have joined in on these efforts, invigorating the urban ecology community. Our area of work is currently in the city of Davis, but our goal is to eventually expand our influence towards other communities.
