Project Stand Up

A youth-led initiative increasing participation, decision-making and initiation to solutions among refugee youth 🏆#OpenIDEO #EiE winner. Overview Project Stand Up (PSU) is a youth-driven initiative that grew out of a Development Studies class at the Fugee School in early 2016. Since then, it has become a globally recognized, award winning initiative focused on improving access to and participation in education, particularly for girls. Our VISION More young people, particularly girls, speak up and participate in decision making and initiating solutions to issues that matter most to them. Our MISSION To get young refugees to support young refugees to develop the skills they need to ensure youth actively participate in designing solutions, participate in decision-making, and have access to learning opportunities, particularly for girls and young women.
