Project STEM SF is a student-led organization dedicated to bridging the gap between San Francisco youth and the STEM field. Founded in 2024 by Cynthia Lei, Josh Benedict, and Anthony Li, Project STEM SF aims to support youth in accomplishing their STEM goals through providing science experiments, workshops, and tutoring in STEM related subjects for underprivileged communities. Project STEM SF combines community action, advocacy and collaboration to promote equality for all in STEM.
Project STEM SF first started as a STEM club at Philip & Sala Burton Academic High School and is expanding towards an organization status. Our mission is rooted in the belief that all youth deserve equal opportunities and access to tools that will promote growth.
