About Projekt CELLenger
At CELLenger, we are developing a next-generation cell culture system that brings physiological relevance into the lab. Our compact and easy-to-use platform—designed in the format of a standard well plate—enables the cultivation of human cells under dynamic flow conditions, mimicking blood flow and other mechanical stimuli found in the human body. This allows for more accurate and meaningful in-vitro models, especially in advanced areas like Organ-on-a-Chip, 3D cell culture, and flow-based organoid systems. Our technology is designed to accelerate innovation in: 🔬 Drug discovery and development 🧬 Personalized medicine 🧫 Regenerative therapies Our vision: to establish CELLenger as the international standard for dynamic cell culture, shaping the future of biomedical research. By creating more realistic test environments, we aim to ✔ Improve data quality ✔ Reduce animal testing ✔ Speed up the development and availability of new therapies CELLenger is currently being developed at the University of Augsburg and funded with €300,000 through the "Validierungsförderung" program of the Bavarian State .
