The PROMAR project aims to prevent plastic waste in the Caribbean Sea by raising awareness and promoting action in both public and private sectors. It supports partner countries—Costa Rica, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Suriname, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and the British Virgin Islands—in improving waste management infrastructure and creating lasting solutions to eliminate plastic waste and prevent marine pollution.
