PRONI Center for Youth Development Brcko District BiH is a non-government, non-profit and non-political organization founded in 1998, with the purpose of organizing and implementing education in the field of social work with young people and with the objective of developing and promoting the activism, peace and reconciliation, youth work and voluntarism among the active citizens.
PRONI Center is award winning organization that has 20 employees, 90 volunteers and over 2600 registered members.
PRONI Center has highly educated and motivated staff and volunteers with more than 23 years of experience in field of providing trainings in field of non-formal education and implementing youth activities.
PRONI Center is funder and supporter of biggest Youth clubs network in BiH – 26 youth clubs and initiator and co-founder of reconstruction of one of the biggest Youth center in BiH – Youth Center Brcko district BiH.
In last seventeen years PRONI Center implemented hundreds of youth projects in total amount of 3.400,000 EUR. This was achieved with mayor support of Sida (Swedish international development agency and USAID), Brcko District government, Bijeljina municipality and other international and local donor institutions.
Since 1998 up to now, PRONI Center educated more than 650 youth workers.
PRONI Center for Youth Development works directly in 33 municipalities in BiH and it is active on European level trough partnership and networking with other youth NGOs.
PRONI Center is accredited EVS hosting/sending organization and since 2014 is national Contact point for ERASMUS+ and ESS program for youth: http://erasmusmladi.ba/
PRONI is the BiH partner to EYCA for issuing the European Youth Card: https://omladinskakartica.ba
