About Propcop
PropCop is a cloud hosted secure online data repository of public notices pertaining to immovable properties, published in daily newspapers across major cities of Gujarat and Mumbai. Our objective is to assist lenders & ARCs in protecting their security interests in mortgaged properties.
All that we do is designed around the principles of PREVENT, PROTECT, DETECT.
PREVENT – Pre disbursement
Weed out collateral properties that have unacceptable public notice history (for e.g. if the property is subject of an ongoing litigation, dispute or acquisition), even before incurring the cost of legal due diligence and property valuation.
PROTECT – Post disbursement
Daily semi-automated monitoring of daily public notices. Get notified and initiate timely action, if a public notice appears in the newspapers for a mortgaged property where lender has a security interest.
DETECT – Post disbursement
Support investigations by fraud control units / recovery units (FCU/RU) of lenders by providing access to a rich data repository of property related public notices.
