ProPetra, an acronym for Project Petra (petra-oleum) is a technical blog & knowledge sharing platform developed by youth professionals of Oil Exploration & Production Industry.
The idea is to share, discuss & learn technical concepts, new technologies & industry trends. We are young professionals, who want to define the new chapter of oil industry, in-terms of connectivity, opportunities & information.
A major chunk of our work revolves around developing handy software for day-to-day work of a E&P industry engineer. We are also the creators of FEDS, Fracture Evaluation & Design System, a novel 3D frac simulator working on Quasi-3D frac model.
ProPetra aims to be a one-stop-shop for all your petroleum/reservoir engineering & modelling problems/queries. We aim to grow our user database with people from all experiences; the fresh graduate & industry veteran. All our "members" & full-time "editors" will work to solve your particular problem, just like a team of doctors recommend options based on your specific symptoms in an online medical website.
