While Pro Software may have launched quietly in January 2020, that is not where the story begins. Pro Software started in late 2017 as an in-house software solution for a privately owned PEO/ASO that had been in the industry for 17 years. After spending several years looking for, and not finding, a quality solution for its combined PEO/ASO business, they decided it was time to develop their own. After significant R&D, and millions of dollars of investment, that PEO/ASO launched Pro Software in the Spring of 2019 for its own use. Unlike the two most commonly used software platforms in the PEO industry, PRO is unique in its origin combining both Payroll and Benefits Administration seamlessly in one platform. There is no bolting together of disparate solutions with front offices vs. back offices or cloud solutions vs. on-premises solutions – there is only one seamless platform.
