Prospect

Prospect is the only open-source based platform that automatically collects, harmonises, aggregates, analyses and displays data from any modern, sustainable energy solution. With Prospect companies can securely share their data, gain valuable insights, and even help raise finance. Subsidy programmes or investors can easily access verified results, and governments can confidently track the real-time state of electrification in their country and their progress towards reaching SDG 7. Prospect collects data from various sources, including smart meters, IoT devices, mobile money transactions, and other digital platforms. The platform facilitates secure data sharing through the data infrastructure it provides. Prospect covers all a wide range of energy technologies - such as standalone solar, productive use of energy or commercial and industrial equipment, mini-grids, on-grid connections, and clean cooking solutions. Launched in November 2022, the Prospect platform is being developed by the Access to Energy Institute with the support of GET.invest, a leading European programme that mobilises investment in clean energy, co-funded by the European Union, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Austria.
