Louise Pinnell, the company’s founder has sought to help people fulfil their full potential since the company’s inception, helping over 45,000 young people & adults who are not in education, employment or training get back into work. The social impact value calculator HACT estimates the work PTS has done for their learners worth at least £11.78 million to the community. For the lives of the thousands of learners PTS has helped, the service provided has been invaluable. PTS have the skills & diversity to cater to the individual. Its seven training centres work to address literacy & numeracy deficiencies, incorporating teaching within vocational training courses. The pioneering Young Mum’s To Be programme equips young expectant teens with information on pregnancy & childcare, as well as working towards formal qualifications. Physical activity is both a reward & tool of learning on the innovative GOALZ & Premiership Rugby HITZ programmes, assisting learners to achieve Sports qualifications, whilst also working towards their maths & English. All of PTS’ programmes give people who may otherwise struggle in traditional classroom environments a chance to thrive, & for many, a kick-start to their career. Taking full advantage of the opportunity the digital world has afforded, 1500 students having now benefited from a PTS eLearning course. In-house developed educational apps, including the award-winning iObserve, (dubbed an “educational game-changer” by Ofsted) have improved the reach & delivery of learning.
