We shine the spotlight on accent-focused discrimination so as to enable the empowerment of authentic voices through awareness-raising, education and training.
Our mission is to empower every voice regardless of accent through education along with promoting evidence-based accent inclusive policies and procedures that support and enable the empowerment of authentic voices at all levels and in all forms of organisational communication and eliminate accent discrimination in communication systems and technologies.
Our goal is to eradicate accents focused biases, stereotypes, labelling and discrimination and promote acceptance and inclusivity by influencing positive behavioural changes among team members, through education and by providing the empirical evidence that is necessary for driving change. This will enable organisations to be truly representative of all sections of society and customers, and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best.Our flagship programme is to promote linguistic diversity and eliminate accent discrimination in all forms and levels of organisational communication and the broader society. We believe that effective communication is key to solving problems, fostering team collaboration and promoting stakeholder engagements and. Therefore, we are committed to promoting clarity of speech but also promoting accent inclusion and acceptance.
WHAT WE DO:
Accent Bias Training Course - We offer Accent Bias Training Course to support organisations in promoting and modelling accent inclusive communication excellence. Only by equipping and empowering their employees to communicate effectively across all cultures and accents can an organisation model communication excellence.
Conferences/Seminars - We host the annual Protect Accent International Conference and regular seminars.
We host the annual "World Accents Celebration and Awards Day" event.
