ProtectiFlex

ProtectiFlex is an innovative NATO and BSI approved single defensive building material that provides protection against blast, ballistic, forced entry, impact, weapon effects, fire and seismic loads. It offers a bespoke defensive solution which can be retrofitted on to existing structures or integrated into new designs and be used to mitigate risk against accidents, natural disasters and direct attacks. ProtectiFlex is an effective form of force protection against the repercussions of today’s volatile political climate and the possibility of terrorist attack. Its innovative sustainable formula allows bullet and bomb blast energy to be absorbed and dissipated through the structure instead of shattering. This reduces the risk of spalling injuries without diminishing its structural integrity. ProtectiFlex’s increased performance against ballistic threat and blast overpressure is due to its unique ability to flex under force and due to its elastic properties return to its original shape without deformation or loss of performance.
