Protern's GPS technology for alpine ski racing gives athletes and coaches insights into performance that was never before achievable. Compared to traditional timing with 2 to 3 data points per run, Protern provides around 5,000. From World Cup teams to resort clubs, any level of alpine ski athlete and coach can benefit from seeing where exactly time and speed was lost or gained on the run. So far Protern's customers have won over 125 World Cup medals. In addition to time and speed, coaches and athletes can merge their Protern data to video making video analysis even more powerful. Protern is based in Canada and is used worldwide in over 15 countries. Customers include U12 athletes to Olympic gold medalists. It can be used be an entire team, or a single athlete looking to get ahead of their competition.
