Protomaterial Records is an independent record label founded in October 2022 by musician and composer Joan Arnau Pàmies. All Protomaterial releases are envisioned and produced by Pàmies. Based in Catalonia (Spain), Protomaterial’s focus is not rooted in a particular type of music or genre. Instead, the label operates as a hub for artists whose work exists beyond current mainstream trends. Whether pop, electronica, jazz, or experimental, Protomaterial seeks to support artists who truly have an original voice.
