The Hellenic Shopping Company “EL.ET.A. SA ”has been operating in the field of retail since 1998. Within a short period of time, it gained power, occupying a prominent position, both in the appreciation of its members and in the trust and respect of its suppliers. Our vision is to anticipate future market challenges in an ever-changing economic environment and to be one step ahead of developments. Today, the ELETA Group has exceeded 350 supermarket companies with a capacity of over 450 stores which are constantly growing. The Group was created to support Greek supermarkets in their effort to face a highly competitive market. For this reason, a single chain of stores called proton was created and is being built. The proton brand has been built based on the 100% Greek identity of the stores. So far 28% of the Group's supermarkets have been renovated to proton standards.
