And for good reason, despite technological advancements in the field, detection tools remain imperfect, automated moderation lacks nuance, and the current information overload generates a volume of content that exceeds the capacity for processing and verification.
In response to these challenges, a collective of stakeholders—including TrustMyContent, UncovAI, the Journalism Trust Initiative (launched by Reporters Without Borders), CEPIC, L'Atelier, and the Medialab of Sciences Po Paris—has launched Provenance For Trust. This innovation program, a first in the press and media sector, is committed to ensuring the authenticity, traceability, and credibility of information
