Provident Charter School is the only TUITION FREE, public charter school in Pennsylvania designed specifically for children in Grades 1-8 with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and other reading difficulties. We have two locations (Pittsburgh and Baden) servicing Western PA. Bus transportation is currently available in over 55 school districts. Our teachers are certified in Orton Gillingham and utilize the Wilson Ready System within the classrooms. We deliver 25% more instructional hours than traditional schools and keep class sizes small (1:5) to ensure individualized instruction is optimized. Currently, we are the only school in the nation to provide Taekwondo as a class to promote confidence, self-control and determination in each child.
