The PRDA is responsible for the maintenance and development of the class C & D roads road network in Central Province, Sri Lanka comprising of planning, designing and the construction of new roads & bridges to augment the existing road network. Our vision is to become the excellent PRDA of Sri Lanka and the mission is Develop and maintain a modern and attractive road network in the Central Province in sustainable manner with safety , comfort , speed, guidance , for various users while satisfying the dwellers, advertisers , employees and other major stakeholders in transparent, proactive ,effective, and efficient manner by accepting funds from local and international modes. The authority covers the 3 districts of Central Province, Sri Lanka, namely Kandy, Matale and Nuwara Eliya.
