Kavach – brand protection In order to provide world-class service to its esteemed customers, in 2010-11 PRS Permacel set up a state-of-the-art, green field manufacturing facility based at Ambernath (approx. 60 kms north of Mumbai) in Maharashtra State, which covers a total constructed area of over one hundred thousand square feet. This facility encompasses the entire value chain starting from adhesive manufacturing to adhesive stock & tape coating to printing and finishing operations - all under one roof. This new plant is now certified for ISO9001:2008, 14001:2004 and IS18001:2007 quality assurance standards. The automotive manufacturing operations are certified for TS 16949:2002. PRS Permacel´s ultra modern R&D facility has been awarded recognition by the ´Department of Scientific and Industrial research (DSIR), which operates under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of india.
