Livia Whisenhunt established PS Energy Group, Inc. in 1985 as a wholesale marketer of bulk transportation fuels (natural gas, gasoline and diesel fuel) to industry and government. Through the acquisition of Unattended Fuel Outlets (UFOs) in metro Atlanta in 1989, the company expanded to serve retail customers as well. PS Energy has grown to become the nation’s third largest Hispanic-owned energy company (cited by Hispanic Business Magazine 2009), and one of the top diversity-owned businesses in the United States.
