PSA Studios is a multifaceted architecture and design studio with offices in Brooklyn and Tivoli, NY. PSA has experience in a wide range of commercial, residential, urban and institutional projects, both in the U.S. and abroad. With an efficient, creative staff, the latest modeling and analytical technologies, PSA brings not only a high level of design sensibility to each project but also addresses issues of sustainability, social Consciousness and economic impact. The firm’s integrated Sustainable Studio ensures that investigation of material, technological and structural systems are a part of the development of every project. Following ten years as partner at Sweeny Walter Architects, Peter Sweeny founded PSA in 1999, premised on the idea that each project is a unique opportunity and must be conceived, designed and developed accordingly. Peter is also co-founder of the Brooklyn based real estate development firm, PDS. This experience in property development, finance, and construction has been integral to PSA. Unified by a shared dedication for comprehensive design, PSA is home to a diverse community of designers and support staff, with a wide variety of backgrounds and interests.
