The mission of PSHP is to advance and support the professional practice of health-system pharmacy and serve as its collective voice through education, networking and advocacy.
Established in 1970, the Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacists (PSHP) is one of the largest state affiliates of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. PSHP consists of more than 500 members employed throughout the Commonwealth in a variety of practice settings, including hospitals, home care agencies, long-term care facilities, ambulatory care facilities, health maintenance organizations, clinics, psychiatric facilities, sub-acute and chronic care facilities, correctional facilities and colleges of pharmacy. Members include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, students of pharmacy, and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry.
