As former members of the GW Pharmaceuticals executive team, where we learned to develop FDA approved medicines from the cannabis plant, we have established PsiClone to pursue the development of natural forms of Psilocybin and related molecules using complex extracts obtained from fungal raw material grown in our licensed growing facility. We expect that this approach will enable us to make IP protected, natural forms of psilocybin based medicines which we intend to take through clinical development with the aim of securing FDA and other international regulatory approvals, enabling access to this important new class of medicines for patients.
We are fascinated by fungi and the emerging data from the broad range of psychedelic medicinal research that continues to emerge. Our team has a track record of success in development of botanical medicines and is making rapid progress in the field of naturally derived psychedelic medicines.
