Dr. Chiara Comastri, a psychologist and former stutterer, developed the Psychodition method from her own personal experience and her specific research that led her to solve the stuttering she suffered from since the age of three. Since 2004, she has been working in order to develop and provide tools to overcome stuttering and difficulties related to communication.
Thanks to Psychodition, more than 4,600 people suffering from this disorder have been helped.
Psychodition is a path with foundations that rest on a cognitive-behavioral psychological approach: that is, it analyzes the person's behavioral and cognitive patterns, trying to identify and modify those that create discomfort and, therefore, give rise to the block in mind and, as a consequence, the dysfluency in speech.
This methodology aims to enhance the skills that make us good communicators, creating certainty in the coordination between thought and speech.
