About ETH - Power Systems Laboratory (PSL)

The EEH - Power Systems Laboratory is part of the Energy Transmission and High Voltage Laboratory (EEH) of the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (D-ITET) of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETH Zurich). The scientific field of the Power Systems Laboratory comprises analysis and design of electric and integrated energy systems including their planning, design and operation. A main goal of our research is to develop methods of design, control and analysis based on system theory tools from e.g. control theory, optimisation, operations research, that can be used by engineers in the industry to solve actual problems.
