Reports of sexual abuse and arrests within these neo-shamanic sects have cast a shadow over the legitimate exploration of psychedelics for mental health. Therefore, as we navigate the complex landscape of psychedelic therapy, it is imperative to address these challenges with very careful regulation, rigorous research, and ethical practices to ensure the safety and integrity of those seeking healing and personal growth.
