PT Luas Birus Utama is Indonesian commercialized research-based company, manufacturer & provider of specialty chemicals with 20 years of experience in delivering chemical treatment products and services for the energy and industry sectors. We registered trademark “STARBORN” in Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights. More than 25 product lines are listed in APDN Migas and Approved Manufacturers’ List (AML) SKK Migas, with Domestic Content of >40%. STARBORN has production capacity installed more than 16,000 ton/year, complete with reactors for raw material synthesis which operated comply to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 Standards. Our manufacturing facility plant is installed in the Cikarang, West Java, Indonesia with area of 2500 square meter. STARBORN has Research & Development Laboratory that operates in accordance with technical standards in the upstream Oil & Gas industry. STARBORN manages ±30 contracts of products & services provision in the upstream Oil and Gas industry: Pertamina EP & PHE, Petrochina, Petronas, Medco E&P, ENI, Exxon, BP Berau, etc. STARBORN hallmarks are the delivery of solutions tailored to each Client’s precise objectives, effectively and efficiently. We provide extended research and technology development to support our client including engineering solutions. STARBORN work towards self-producing capability of chemistry/polymer/intermediate chemicals that have long been regarded as imported products from overseas. The scope of our studies sequentially from lab-scale study, pilot-scale reactor, to local commercial-scale productions. We proudly present our STARSORB (CO2, H2S and COS removal product) as the result of this work.
