The PTDA Foundation was founded in 1982 to enhance knowledge, education, professionalism and productivity within the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry. It's primary initiative is PT WORK Force® (where WORK stands for Work force Outreach, Research and Knowledge) focused on developing and delivering tools to support employers in attracting qualified candidates to the PT/MC industry and position the PT/MC industry as a vibrant place to establish and develop a career.
