The Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) - New York is the representative office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) covering Northeast and the Midwest.
In fostering the continued strong bilateral economic relations between the Philippines and the United States, PTIC-NY provides the following services:
Investment Promotion:
We provide potential foreign investors with information about the particular strengths and operating conditions of the Philippines as a business location. In close cooperation with various partners from the private sector and the network investment promotion agencies in the Philippine foreign companies we assist companies in the planning of the following activities, among others:
Reaching out to the regional investment boards
Finding the ideal location in the Philippines
Advise on meeting legal and administrative requirements
Advise on corporate structure
Export Promotion:
We assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) identify and make use of sales opportunities abroad and positions Philippine exporters as internationally competitive providers to foreign markets. We provide market analyses and evaluation, contacts to business partners, and participation in major international trade shows.
We likewise assist US exporters in finding partners in the Philippines and facilitate participation in Manila FAME, the country’s premier lifestyle and design event for home, fashion, holiday, architectural, and interior pieces, and IFEX Philippines, the country’s biggest international trade exhibition on the Philippines’ and Asia’s ethnic and specialty food products
