We encourage and support students in using their technical skills and public interest to serve broader societal needs and shaping technology in ways that will promote social welfare. PIT acts as a platform for students to learn about, discuss, and contribute to the development and implementation of technology that benefits the public. This will include understanding the ethical considerations of technology use, promoting digital literacy, and learning effective advocacy strategies
