PublicSource was created to address the growing gap in in-depth reporting in Pennsylvania. We are an independent nonprofit covering the stories of Western Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh, Allegheny County and the surrounding areas. Journalism is sometimes called the "first rough draft of history."
