Publ°k GmbH specializes in digitalizing disbursements in the public sector quickly and easily – without the need for additional infrastructure. Founded in 2023, this GovTech company developed the SocialCard, a solution designed to meet all legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. Fourteen German federal states already use the SocialCard to distribute financial benefits to refugees under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act. The core idea behind the SocialCard – transforming cash-heavy processes in municipalities into card-based digital payments – extends far beyond refugee aid. Today, cash is still widely used in municipal operations, including within public administrations themselves. Publ°k helps digitalize these workflows, supporting local authorities facing severe staff shortages and recruitment challenges. The goal: freeing up valuable time and capacity for public sector employees.
