AT A GLANCE
Center of Excellence for Pharmaceutical Care Innovation (PHARCI) was established in 2016 as Research Center of Pharmaceutical Care Development. PHARCI commits to conduct research, collaborations, capacity developments, and community services to support the implementation of rational drug use and improve the quality of pharmaceutical services.
Our ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life of the community. We believe that by bringing together various scientific disciplines within our team, we can reinforce our efforts to achieve the goals. Our multidisciplinary team comprises experts in the field of clinical pharmacy, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology, drug utilization study, pharmacogenetics, pharmacology, molecular pharmacology, and nutraceuticals.
PHARCI has collaborated with various government institutions, industry, health care facilities, NGOs, educational institutions and research centers. These collaborations have created several products, innovations, scientific articles, and policy recommendations.
PHARCI has established several facilities that can support the research and collaboration, such as Medication and Therapy Adherence Clinics (MTAC), Animal Research and Innovation Center (ARIC), Center of Development for Biologic Therapy, Cell Biology and Molecular Laboratory, and Growth Hub (Business Incubator). PHARCI also manages two national journals, namely the Indonesian Journal of Clinical Pharmacy (IJCP) and Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy Research (PCPR), which have been accredited with Sinta 2.
