About PUP Advertising and Public Relations Organization of Students

The Advertising and Public Relations Organization of Students (ADPROS) is the official academic organization of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations (DAPR) under the College of Communication (COC) of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). ADPROS is best known as the Home of Creative Leaders. It serves as the shelter for a clique of creative, critical, and cultivated student-leaders from Bachelor in Advertising and Public Relations (BAPR). The organization firmly abides by its objective, which is to champion creativity and commence critical judgment of each member of the BAPR community, bolstering them into becoming competitive candidates in the dynamic industry of Advertising, Marketing, and Communications. Ever since, as we have clearly envisioned and fully embodied the genuine purpose of ADPROS, we have arrived at significant pieces that encapsulate the organization’s story. With vivid language and graphic elements, these pieces, even by themselves, manifest the whatfors and whyfors of the organization. The elements of our narrative fulfill the strategic foundation of ADPROS, and these components shall serve as the point of reference for the succeeding terms of creative leaders. As a constituent of ADPROS, we represent one meaningful intention—to cater the professional needs of the BAPR Community, while championing creativity. We are diverse in terms of personality and talent yet, altogether we share only one principle and story. All of these make us integral and unique and versatile. All current and aspiring creative leaders are required to have a common understanding of our existence—who we are, what we do, and what we are about. Without abridging our individuality and disparity, the understanding should allow us to have a mutual and logical way of communicating. This, as a result, will lead to aligned communication activities and behaviors, firmly believing these are immensely significant to the function of the organization.
