In 2012 one of our founders, a chiropractor, was hit by a car while walking through a parking lot in Stamford CT. The result was a fracture in his lumbar spine. Although the fracture healed, it was replaced by persistent neck and back pain, and a hunched posture. "If I could only pop my back with something that had a steep angle, I think it would help." So, after an intense Google search for a product to move the spine into correct alignment, nothing was found. Everything available stretched only the muscles but did not move the vertebrae. So we had to invent one. After 3 years, many revisions, and hundreds of tests on real people, PurePosture was born.
