Purple Umbrella is India’s first multidisciplinary festival celebrating youth-led storytelling, innovation, and climate action. Hosted annually in New Delhi, the festival brings together young theatre artists, social entrepreneurs, and documentary filmmakers who are solving real-world problems and shaping a better future. Through three dynamic tracks—Theatre for Change, Startups for Impact, and Short Stories & Documentaries—Purple Umbrella is a platform for young voices to challenge the status quo and build community solutions rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
