Purposes Labs

Purposes Labs is a creative education program developed by volunteers of the Private Initiative in partnership with the Government that aims to contribute to the improvement of public education in Brazil through human centered design. Intended for young people between 14 and 16 years of the public education network. The model is inspired by the pillars of Finnish education, where students work with experiences that help them to develop critical thinking, creativity, appreciation of human relations and PROTAGONISM. The contents are applied by volunteers of experts from the private sector, representatives of the Public Power and teachers of the public education network, around each theme of the program. Through human-centered design techniques, students promote the collective construction of critical thinking and in a sustainable way, work with points to be improved in the school unit itself, that is. In addition to receiving the opportunity to learn and develop skills with the support of specialists, the students themselves with design thinking, planning and management techniques will contribute to the continuous improvement of the School Unit.
