Vision: Creating Sustainable & Resilient Communities in Rural India Objectives: Successfully implement United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) 1,4,5, 8 & 14| उद्दीष्टे: संयुक्त राष्ट्र शाश्वत विकास लक्ष्य (यूएनएसडीजी) 1,4,5, 8 आणि 14 यशस्वीरित्या अंमलबजावणी करणे. Geographies covered: Rural areas of Maharashtra, India with special focus on Nasik (कर्मभूमि) & Buldhana (मातृभूमि) districts. Our Impact - About 3000 trees planted - 20 river cleaning drives conducted - Education of 800 students sponsored, of which 500 are girls - Sports kits gifted to 100 students - Potable water facilities created and maintained in 4 schools. - “Say No to Plastic” campaigns in 8 villages & 15 schools covering more than 1000 people - More than 500 books donated to 15 schools - 3 Annual Scholarships to meritorious students from underprivileged background. Total: 30 - Environment Conservation: 4 training camps covering 350 youths conducted in cooperation with Maharashtra Government. - Hydroponics: 40 women gifted hydroponic units and trained in hydroponic farming. The pilot used to create a platform for rural people to learn about water efficient farming techniques.
