PUSPA (Pokhara University Students' Pharma Association) was established on September 24, 2002, under the guidance of Prof. Purusotam Basnet. and Prof. Natasa Skalko-Basnet. PUSPA was established as a non-profitable and non-political organization of the students of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Program. PUSPA was established with the aim to disseminate the knowledge of medicine and public health to the general public along with uplifting the role of pharmacists to achieve that purpose. PUSPA is committed to achieving the three aspects of life, namely: Healthy life (Swasthayu/स्वास्थ्ययु), Happy life (Sukhayu/सुखायु), and Long life (Dheerghayu/दीर्घायु) through the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
