PVT Lab

PVT Lab is an Australian renewable energy company. Through years of R&D, PVT Lab has been improving the efficiency of solar panels by cooling them down and at the same time extracting that heat energy for beneficial reuse. They have done this by combining solar PV with the Coolsheet™, a retrofit heat exchange panel that fits neatly behind most PV panels. PVT Lab have designed the Coolsheet™ to be a low cost, lightweight and easy to install option for businesses that require thermal energy, while improving the efficiency of the PV panels on their roof. Initially focussing on helping the aquatic centre industry lower their pool heating costs, the Coolsheet™ is also a great candidate for any setting where heating is required, such as food processing, schools with pools, hotels, hospitals, commercial buildings or even district heating. The custom manifold system can be scaled to almost any size to suit the PV array that it is being attached to, be it 50 or 5,000 panels. This allows pumping pressures to be kept to a minimum, thus making the whole system more efficient.
