Pyrocene Alliance

Pyrocene Alliance is a non-profit organization, created by enthusiasts and experts to promote the new approach to wildfire prevention, management and suppression, based on the best balance of ecological concerns, local communities needs, and incident management and prevention. Our mission is to unite those who deal with fire in nature to relearn how to cohabit fires in the turbulent era of systemic change. We are opened for collaboration with local communities, volunteers, business and fire professionals. Our strategic approach aims to overcome tensions and disagreements by fostering collaborative efforts among communities, professionals, environmentalists, and businesses in specific instances that can serve as replicable models. We will bring together experts in fire ecology, fire management, firefighting and volunteerism, while also engaging community representatives and business experts in concerted efforts. Our endeavors will culminate in the creation and implementation of community-level solutions that not only yield tangible outcomes in a chosen case study but also establish replicable mechanisms and shareable knowledge of safe and sustainable coexistence with fire. These solutions will exemplify how to adapt to the current fire situation and reshape the way fire is used while prioritizing the preservation of climate and biodiversity, as well as supporting community interests.
